About Us

Maggio Solutions, Inc. has it roots in the twenty-three year brokerage firm of Maggio & Associates established in 1987. Maggio Solutions, Inc. was formed in 2007 as a separate entity from Maggio & Associates and specializes in the detection and repair solutions to company Benefit Plan Infrastructure leaks. Maggio Solutions, Inc.’s core competency is the identification of these opportunities and developing solutions that companies, brokers, insurance companies or TPAs can add to their service offerings. Foremost among these is Dependent Eligibility Audit (DEA©) Process.

Our president, John Griffith has fifteen years of experience in health benefits plans and has extensive experience in information technology and continuous process improvement. He is a Life-Time Senior Fellow in Processes and IT for The Boeing Company and Pratt & Whitney and has published numerous papers in process management and optimization for NASA, the National Archives & Records Administration, and the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST). Joining the executive staff as Executive Vice President and CFO is Tony Maggio, who is a benefits consultant with over 30 years of experience in partial self-funded plans and the benefits industry and Mr. Scott Mackelprang who prior to joining Maggio Solutions, Inc. was Vice-President of internet security for Intuit Corporation. Joining us is a staff of 40 team members who help provide this high ROI process nationally to our Customers.

The reputation of Maggio Solutions has grown rapidly over the by our commitment to making the Dependent Eligibility Verification Process™ either part of the company’s HR tool chest or providing this new service offering to the existing administrative and carrier infrastructure. We believe that this important process should not be a one-time service provided by specialty audit firms but should be part of the Company’s HR tool chest, Brokers, or administrator’s service offerings.

Nationally we have been providing our DEA© process to Fortune 100 and 500 companies as well as companies below 200 employees, Third Party Administrators (TPAs). Our process is presently being used to audit 120,000 dependents of state-wide municipalities and school districts in the State of West Virginia, as well as many well known companies such as Princes Cruises, Express Jet, and Navistar (formally International Harvester with 75,000 employees) as well a large and small TPAs. We were invited to speak at the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators (SPBA) to an audience of 2/3 of the nation’s TPAs. Our full DEA process provides the complete process for all to perform this important task.

We look forward to working in a similar fashion with you for large and near-immediate cost savings as well as helping you achieve and maintain compliance with your Fiduciary Responsibilities under ERISA, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, IRS and others.
